Award Nominees Requirements

El Josco Awards honor an individual with a Lifetime Achievement Award who meets the following criteria:

​

• Have at least 20 years of professional experience and community involvement in Central Florida’s Puerto Rican/Hispanic community.

• Made sustained contributions to his/her profession in the Central Florida community over his/her lifetime.

• Demonstrated significant leadership capacity by example in his/her professional and personal lives.

• Had a record of exceptional professional practice and leadership that the broader community has recognized.

• Demonstrated a commitment to excellence in his/her professional practice and leadership.

• Showed significant leadership capabilities and have made outstanding and sustained contributions to their profession and/or the community.

• Acted as a role model within his/her profession and exemplify personal qualities that make them stand out among their peers.
